What She Wore: Central Park

Last week, I was able to arrange my internship schedule so that I could attend the Smart Girls Group Conference on Wednesday and Thursday and spend Friday exploring the city with Bess.  If y'all don't know, Bess and I have been friends since she was in middle school and last summer she moved halfway across the country.  This was the first time Bess and I were together since last summer, so needless to say, it was the best week of best friend time.

The great thing about your best friend being a blogger is that we both know not to start eating until an instagram is taken and that if there's a beautiful in Central Park that's away from the people, we're probably going to have to stop and take outfit pictures...and that's exactly what happened...

Top : Lilly Pulitzer / Jeans : Joe Fresh / Sandals : Jack Rogers / Bracelets : Alex & Ani / Sunnies : Ray Bans /
Nail Polish : OPI La Paz-Itively Hot

I'm not usually a huge fan of white jeans.  I'm far too clumsy and messy, and when I wear them I'm constantly in fear of spilling a cup of coffee or sitting on a train seat that has residue from the last person (can we say eww?)  However, when I picked up this Lilly Pulitzer Elsa top at the Warehouse Sale, I knew it would look amazing paired with white bottoms, so I let go of my "white jean fear" and surprisingly enough, even after an entire day in New York City, my jeans remained white!
